About LiveRhythms
LiveRhythms are a group of 4 musicians who, in conjunction with a roster of trained teachers, facilitate the movement meditation of Gabrielle Roth’s 5Rhythms®
The music is improvised, drawing on relationships built through years of playing together and the teachers skilfully integrate the dance into a coherent whole. A typical class lasts 120 minutes and all sit together at the end to share something of their experience
LiveRhythms play monthly in Kew, south west London, UK

The 5Rhythms
- Flowing: Fluid, continuous movement, connecting with the breath.
- Staccato: Angular, sharp, rhythmic, and percussive movements.
- Chaos: Fast-paced, cathartic, and letting go of control.
- Lyrical: Light, airy, playful, and creative movement.
- Stillness: Inner peace, slow motion, and integrating the experience.
Purpose: The practice is designed to help participants move emotions, reduce stress, and explore their own authentic movement
